Making the transition from college to the NFL is tough enough. Now Chip Kelly will be forced to do it without one of his main offensive weapons. Losing a guy like Jeremy Maclin for the season has to have an impact on Chip Kelly’s high-powered offense.

Maybe Kelly is lucky this injury took place early enough to give the quick thinking Kelly time to make some adjustments. He could come up with another player that will become a weapon for the Eagles and not even miss a beat.

The Eagles already had their work cut out for them. A new coach and a new offense to adjust to is never easy. Doing it without one of your wide receivers is going to be even tougher. Kelly will come up with something to keep his Eagles in track.

That’s what this guy does, he is known to be a fast thinker and that is what gave him an edge in College football. The NFL is a bit quicker than the College level but Kelly will rise to the occasion. Maclin had 69 receptions in 2012 for 857 yards.

He will be missed in the Eagles offense but he is replaceable.  Kelly just needs a guy who can step in and make a name for himself. Who the guy is going to be is anyone’s guess.
