Hideki Matsuyama fires a record 9 under par 61 and wins the World Golf- Championships Bridgestone Invitational by 5 strokes.

Talk about a GREAT round OMG he Tied Tiger and was playing with Tiger the day he shot a record 61.

Hideki had to remind us of that very cool! An eagle on #2 and 3 more birdies on the front nine for a 30.

Incredible! Then 4 birdies and 5 pars on the back nine for a 31. That included birdie, birdie, & birdie on 16, 17, & 18.

What an amazing round of golf. Hideki is the real deal! Having won the Memorial all ready says it all. Anyone who wins Jack’s tournament or Arnold’s is special this young man is SPECIAL.

2 years ago I watched him and his caddy get giddy getting a photo with K J Choi. It was very special for them and a special moment for me witnessing it!

Zach Johnson did as good as he could and finished in sole second place. He finished with 7 straight pars after starting with a 34 on the front he finished with a 34 on the back also.

Zach played a great tournament and should hold his head up high. I think 2nd pays somewhere around a million dollars…………WOW!!

I think he will be very happy. I want Zach to win a couple more tournaments and maybe one more Major and he will be a shoe in for the Hall of Fame.

Seriously he will be a shoe in, at least I hope so!

Congratulations to Paul Goydos beating Gene Sauers on the first playoff hole today to take the 3M Championship title.

Gene hang your head high you both shot -20 under for the 54 hole tournament!

Plus a big congrats to Greg Owen for his magnificent +44 win at the Barracuda Championship.

He beat Richy Werenski by 27 points OMG that was some kind of playing. Using the Stableford system is always interesting.
