Chip Kelly took his Oregon Ducks to the Fiesta Bowl last night and made it look easy to beat Kansas State. Kelly’s new offense is something to be dealt with, the Ducks made it look easy to win this football game and there are lots of people wondering if it can be as successful in the NFL. Some of the people who are at the top of the list to talk to Kelly include the new owner of the Cleveland Browns Jimmy Haslam III and his team President Joe Banner.

The Ducks put 35 points on the score board last night. They were able to hold Kansas to only 17 points and the Ducks could have won by more had they kept pouring it on. This could very will be Kelly’s last NCAA football game, there are plenty of reason for Kelly to take hi-powered offensive scheme to the NFL including some sanctions that could be coming to  the Ducks for recruiting violations. There is no reason for Chip Kelly to hang around Oregon any longer, the Browns would do well to hire a guy like Kelly to run their team. He could be the next Paul Brown of the NFL if Kelly indeed accepts an offer to coach the Cleveland Browns.

You can bank on the fact that Jimmy Haslam III and Joe Banner will do what they can to lure Kelly away from the Ducks. It could be just a matter of time before we hear if Chip Kelly goes to the Cleveland Browns……
