Bryce Harper, the kid yes I said kid who asked others to vote for Chipper Jones instead of himself will find himself in a All-Star uniform anyway. Harper has been named to the All-Star team to replace Giancarlo Stanton who has an injury. The youngest position player in the history of baseball is excited to get there and take it all in with his family. The 19 year old All-Star said,”words can’t explain how he feels”. This kid is something special and he brings a lot to the game of baseball.

Bryce Harper is a big part of the reason why the Washington Nationals are having a great season thus far, with a .283 batting average to go with eight home runs and 25 RBIs, he has contributed to the club big-time this season.  It will be like a kid in a candy store, I can envision Harper running around the filed collecting autographs from some of the players he loved growing up. It couldn’t have happened to a better kid, he has a great attitude and is very deserving of being named to the ALL-Star team. Good Luck Bryce and have some fun with it….

Hey tell us what you think about Harper being named to the All-Star Team. Just leave your comments below….
