Phil Mickelson hit a poor tee shot on the 18th hole at Pebble Beach today. As he tried to find his golf ball he lost his footing and took a hard fall landing right on his butt. Although Phil had to be embarrassed by the fall, he was able to get up UN-assisted and continue to search for his golf ball. Phil went down hard as his golf cleats hit the seaweed that covered the rocks. We all know that Phil already suffers from a bad form of arthritis and the last thing Mickelson needs this season is a back injury. The good news is Phil wasn’t hurt by the fall and finished his round with a one over par 73 today. He is in a tie for 56th place and is currently 11 shots off the lead held by Brandt Snedecker.

Phil went on to make a triple bogey on the 18th after making a birdie on the 17th….
