Graeme McDowell made a move today in the third round of the Open Championship. McDowell shot a third round 67 to take over the second place spot in this Major Championship. McDowell had a third round that included five birdies and two bogies on his way to shooting his second round of 67. McDowell has carded rounds of 67,69,67 to find himself in the hunt for the Open Championship. McDowell is a former U.S. Open Champion and he knows how tough it is to capture a Major.

At the time of this article it looks like McDowell could find himself in the last group for the fourth round with Adam Scott. If McDowell is going to win this Open Championship he is going to have to mount a charge in his last round or Scott is going to have to come back to the field. McDowell is 4 strokes back at the time of this article and Scott still has 2 holes left to play.

Hey be sure to tell us if you think McDowell can win the Open Championship, just leave your comments below.
