For the second week in a row Brandt Snedeker continues to demonstrate why he took home the Fed Ex Cup last season. Snedeker is tied for the lead in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am with Ted Potter, Jr. at 8 under par. Snedeker shot a 4 under par 66 at the Monterey Peninsula Country Club in his first round and followed it with a 4 under par 68 at the Spyglass Hill Golf Club today in his second round. Snedeker came in at second place just a week ago at the Waste Management Phoenix behind Phil Mickelson and he tied for second place Farmers Insurance Open a week earlier.
Snedeker is on fire this year on the PGA tour, he has finished in the top 3 in 3 out of the 4 tournaments he has played in this season. People are saying that Tiger Woods is the favorite coming into this years Masters but I say lets not count out Brant Snedeker who has always played well at the Augusta National Golf Club. Snedeker is clearly the hottest player on the PGA tour right now.
He had a round that was bogey free today and made 4 birdies, yesterday he made 6 birdies and 2 bogies. He is going to be a force to deal with over the weekend. If he can continue to play the kind of golf he is playing presently he has to win sooner or later.
