Golfer Adam Scott is sitting on a one stroke lead after carding a 6 under par 64 today in the Open Championship. Scott’s round included 8 birdies and 2 bogies on his way to the top of the leader-board. Adam Scott made it look fairly easy today making Birdies at 4,6,7,11,12,13,15,16.  Scott’s bogies came at holes 3 and 18. The top of the leader board is getting rather crowded, both Zach Johnson and Paul Lawrie carded 5 under par 65′s to tie for second place behind Adam Scott on their way to the club house.

Golfer Tiger Woods held the lead after he played 7 holes but that lead was short lived as Scott made his move. Woods would bogie number 15 to fall back to three under par after going out in 30. Tiger is currently tied with 4 others for the fifth spot including the Big Easy Ernie Els who is also at 3 under and in the Club House.

Golfer Phil Mickelson has yet to tee off.
