Australian Adam Scott is still in the lead at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, but he only holds the lead by 3 strokes. Keegan Bradley shot a great score in his 3rd round to close the gap.

Scott let some holes get away from him in round 3. He made 5 birdies on the day, but it was the 4 bogies that helped Bradley close the gap. This has been Scott’s tournament to win, but he has to avoid making costly mistake in the final round.

Scott made more bogies in his 3rd round than he made in his first 2 rounds combined. You have to wonder if nerves came into play for the current Masters champion.

Scott has driven the ball beautifully all week. His driving accuracy has him tied for 2nd and his putting has been decent. However his putts per green in regulation has increased in rounds 2 & 3.

Bradley played great in round 3. He shot a 6 under par 66 making 8 birdies and 2 bogies in his 3rd round. If he can play this good in round 4, he will give Scott a run for his money.

Bradley is a tough competitor in the PGA Tour, he knows how to win and he isn’t a guy that will lay down. Round 4 of the Arnold Palmer Invitational is going to be very interesting to say the least.

If Scott can’t get back to playing bogey free golf this one could go to Bradley or any of the guys who are within a few strokes of the lead.
