It has been a while since the Dallas Cowboys have had a winning season. ESPN has just predicted the Cowboys to finish the 2013 season at 10-6. They must have a lot of faith in Tony Romo and his Cowboys offense. If the Cowboys are going to have a winning season, Romo is going to have to stop turning the ball over.

ESPN is saying this will be the year all the pieces of the Cowboys offense comes together for Tony Romo, Dez Bryant and Jason Witten. Of course in order for this to happen those guys are going to have to stay healthy. They also think the defense will be led by, DeMarcus Ware and Sean Lee.

The Cowboys had a decent defense last season but at times struggled trying to stop the down-field pass. This year the defensive secondary should be a bit better seeing how this is Morris Claiborne’s second NFL season.

The one question that comes to mind concerning Claiborne is his durability. If he can get healthy and stay healthy, he could be the difference maker going into the 2013 season. The key word here is healthy….

If the Cowboys do make it into the play offs and have a record of 10-6 in the regular season this could be what Garrett needs to save his job in Dallas. it is going to be interesting to see just how well the ESPN prediction comes out.
