Ernie Els the big easy has put himself in a very interesting position at the 141st Open Championship. Els who posted a 2 under par 70 could end up winning this thing. Scott who only leads by one stroke with two holes left to play has got himself in Major trouble. Els could be the winner if Scott can’t play his ball out of the deep rough he hit into on the way to the 17th green. Els played a great final round and made birdie on the 18th hole to post the two under par round.

The Big easy had a rough front nine and went out with a two over par 36. Ernie then played the back side in 4 under par with birdies at 10,12,14 and 18. Hang on folks it is going to be an interesting finish and the Open Championship could well fall into the hands of Ernie Els….

Update: Ernie Els wins the Open Championship when Adam Soctt bogeys the 18th to lose by one stroke.
