For Philadelphia Eagles fans, the news couldn’t have been any better. Head coach Chip Kelly said, he has no interest in coaching at Texas and plans on staying with the Eagles for a long time.

Kelly likes coaching the Eagles and why wouldn’t he, the team is in 1st place in the NFC East, and Kelly is starting to focus on getting the Eagles ready for the NFL play-offs.

Judging by the way Kelly sounded when asked about the College coaching job in Texas, it sounded like Kelly was very happy about the turn around the Eagles have made this season.

Losing to the Vikings the way Philadelphia did on Sunday, should have Kelly concerned about the Eagles defense. Giving up 48 points to Minnesota is something Kelly could have lived without.

The team has 2 games left and Kelly wants to win them both. He knows the Cowboys game is going to be one of the biggest games in his coaching career and he wants the Eagles to be ready.

You can bank on the fact that Kelly is focusing on his coaching job at the NFL level and he won’t be returning to the College level anytime soon.

He is having a lot of fun in Philadelphia and as long as he can produce winning football, I would expect his good times to last.
