The New Orleans Saints didn’t stand a chance according to many of the experts. They were going into Philadelphia to play the Eagles and the so-called experts didn’t think Drew Brees and his Saints could stand the weather.

Brees couldn’t win a play off game when not playing in the dome. Boy, were those experts wrong. The Saints battled and they showed, that experience is the best teacher.

Sean Payton kept his guys focused and he showed the Eagles they have a lot to learn. The Saints stayed patient an they got their offense working. The Saints put their first points on the board in the 2nd quarter.

They trailed at the half by one and they came out in the 3rd quarter and got their offense working. The Saints out played the Eagles in the second half and they were led to a victory thanks to Brees and Peyton staying patient.

It wasn’t your Drew Brees typical performance but he did enough to help his saints win when they had to. They relied on the running game and thanks to Mark Ingram, the Saints could control the pace of play in the 2nd half.

Now the Saints have to start focusing on their next play off game. Thanks to Drew Brees and Sean Peyton the Saints will live to play another game.
