Just when Dan Marino said the Miami Dolphins have finally found their quarterback for the team, Ryan Tannehill left the Dolphins game with an injury to his left knee and quadriceps muscle on a sack by Calvin Pace on the Dolphins’ second possession. There was no immediate word on the severity of the injury, but Moore finished 11 of 19 for 131 yards after Tannehill was 2 of 5 for 18 yards.
The Dolphins were able to pick up the teams 3rd win in a row to improve to 4-3 on the season. The Dolphins are showing great improvement over last season and Tannehill is a big part of the team’s success. It was good to see Matt Moore able to step in and the Miami Dolphins keep the momentum Tannehill and the Dolphins had going over the past couple games going. Moore and his Dolphin teammates didn’t miss a beat with the teams 30-9 win over the New York Jets today. The Dolphins still haven’t told the media what the extent of Tannehill’s knee injury is and how the team expects the rookie to be out.
