LeBron James just had the worse game of his career, in a Miami Heat uniform. Did he blow the Heats chance to win on the road on purpose? Is it LeBron’s intention to bring the Eastern Conference finals back in front of the home town crowd to win it?
I mean, seriously, when was the last time we’ve seen James play this bad? He is never in foul trouble, that wasn’t the case in last night’s game 5. James was in danger of fouling out early. He only had 7 points in the game. He went 2 for 10 from the field and 1 for 3 from 3 point range in 24 minutes of play.
This isn’t the norm for the King of the NBA. James usually is the guy who takes control in these situations. Is it possible, that Stephenson is finally able to get under his skin?
The Heat need to want to win. They played well last night, but if this is the performance coming out of LeBron James, the Heat might lose this series. Miami has to learn to play without him. If he is in trouble someone else better step up and take control.
Without James leading the way, the team looks leader-less. This includes head coach Erik Spoelstra. Even he was rattled when his leader got into foul trouble. The Heat just might have a fight on their hands now.
