We would like to send out a big  congratulations to Nick Foles who has been named the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, for the remainder of the 2013 season and hopefully the post season.

It only took Chip Kelly 12 weeks to realize what others around the NFL have known for the past couple of season. Michael Vick doesn’t have it anymore and Kelly is better late than never in this case.

Just think how far ahead the Eagles would be if Kelly would have named Foles the starter when the season started. This kid has something that only few NFL quarterbacks have. He has the gift of greatness.

He will lead the Eagles to a championship one day, and he will be there doing it for years. Foles seems to enjoy playing the game, and he makes it look easy when he is on the field.

The Eagles still have their work cut out for them if they want to reach the post season this year. The team has 5 games left and there are tied with the Dallas Cowboys at the top of the NFC East.

The team has this week off with the Bye and they will be facing a tough game against the Arizona Cardinals who are turning things around out there in the desert. This game will be a battle between two rookie head coaches and you have to think Bruce Arians has the upper hand because of all his years in the NFL.

The Eagles can’t take this game lightly and Kelly better have his guys ready to play. With Foles behind center, I like the Eagles chances.
