The Denver Broncos move to 8-1 with the win over the Chargers today, but the problem may be Peyton Manning’s knee. Manning went down near the end of the game being sacked by the Chargers and he immediately grabbed his right knee.

Manning managed to get up but fell back to the field and sat their. He was the one who called the time out so, he was able to stay in the game. Manning has been bothered with problems to both his ankles this season, but this was his right knee.

The Broncos take on the undefeated Chiefs next week and the last thing Denver needs to to play the game without Manning.

Peyton is as tough as they come, he sent the team’s medical personal back to the side-lines and he remained on the field to make sure the Broncos finished the football game.

He is going to be feeling pain when he gets into the locker room that is for sure. The Broncos beat the Chargers 28-20 and Manning threw 4 touchdown passes in the game.

But going forward Manning may need a set of wheels to get his Broncos to where he wanted to deliver them this year. The Broncos offensive line has to do a better job protecting their quarterback. They have to keep the pressure from Manning, otherwise he is not going to get up after one of the hits he is taking this season.

Peyton Manning will have an MRI on his right knee on Monday. Lets hope there is no serious damage.
