This weekend when Braxton Miller and his high-powered Ohio State Buckeyes offense take on the Purdue Boilermakers, the Buckeyes are favored by 30-1/2 points.
Miller has played well this season. He is looking to extend the nations longest win streak to 21 games in a row. The Buckeyes have been unstoppable under Urban Meyer.
Miller has a 70.6 completion average this season, throwing for 1,083 yards completing 89 of his 126 attempts. He has also rushed for 403 yards a 2 touchdowns to go along with his 11 throwing touchdowns.
Miller has only thrown 2 interceptions this season and he has been sacked 10 times.
Braxton’s stats are pretty good for a guy that missed 2 games this season with a knee injury. He continues to thrive under Urban Meyer and his Buckeyes are looking for their 2nd consecutive undefeated season.
Urban Meyer has not lost a game since accepting the head coaching position with the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Bucks can probably finish the season with another undefeated season. It doesn’t seem like the Buckeyes are getting the respect they deserve in the AP polls.
With their huge win over Penn State last week, you would think the Buckeyes turned some heads. They are a powerhouse in NCAA football and they deserve a shot at a national championship if they finish the season undefeated which looks likely.
Miller should be a strong Heisman Trophy candidate. He is leading his team as well as any quarterback playing college football today.
