Brandt Snedeker did more of the same today, he hasn’t made a bogey in 36 holes in the Open Championship. Snedeker shot a nice 6 under par 64 today in his second round to tie the low round at the Open Championship through 2 rounds. (so Far Anyway)  Snedeker followed his first round 66 with a 64 today to jump out in front by 5 stroke for the time being. The strange thing about the way Brandt is playing is the fact he had to take time off due to a rib injury he suffered. Some would think Snedeker would be a bit rusty, it hasn’t been seen in his game.

Snedeker got off to a quick start in his second round with a birdie at hole number one, he followed that up with 4 straight pars then birdies at holes 6.7.and 9 to go out with a four under par 30. Snedeker then pared the tenth before making back to back birdies at 11 and 12. He would par the last six holes of his second round to take a five shot lead into the club house after shooting a 64 today. It will be interesting to see how the man who hasn’t played much golf the past month or so holds up over the weekend at the Open Championship.
