Bill Cowher has done a great job not weighing in too much about the way Mike Tomlin has coached the team since he left his post as the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers back in 2007. All of that is about to change when the Pitssburgh Steelers take on the New York Jets this Sunday.

Is this the first step in getting Cowher to come back and coach the 0-4  Steelers. There is nothing that would excite Steeler fans more than seeing Cowher back on the Steelers sidelines. Cowher has had plenty to say about the Steelers season of late.

Cowher is his first role as a broadcast analyst, was just lucky enough to get assigned to this game. The fans can at least hear throughout the game, what he thinks the problems with the team are. Turnovers have killed the Steelers this season. Roethlisberger himself has turned the ball over.

Big Ben has turned the ball over 6 times in the last 2 games. Could this be a problem of him trying to do too much. I wonder if Cowher will take a trip to the team’s locker room before the game. This could inspire his old team to play a better game on Sunday.

It is going to be interesting to hear Bill Cowher’s thoughts on the team he won a super bowl with. He will pull no punches I’m sure come game time.
