Andy Dalton and his Cincinnati Bengals had a tough night in Baltimore. The Ravens defense had its way with Dalton, they sacked him 4 times and intercepted him once. The Bengals got beat 44-13. Dalton wasn’t the only one having trouble against the Ravens, the Bengals defense couldn’t do anything to stop Flacco and his Ravens on the night they were paying tribute to the man who fired Bengals owner Mike Browns father Paul Brown.

The Bengals faced a motivated Baltimore team on the eve before Art Modell’s funeral, the man who returned football back to the Baltimore area when he moved the Cleveland Browns there in 1995. The Bengals defense looked defense-less facing Joe Flacco. The Bengals defense gave up 308 yards passing and 122 yards rushing. It is clear the Cincinnati team couldn’t compete with the Ravens and now they are 0-1 just like the 2 other teams who didn’t win in the AFC North.

On the positive side if there is one when your team losses by 31 points, Bengals receivers Andrew Hawkins & A.J. Green looked good. They combined for 156 yards between the two of them. Those numbers would have been a lot higher I’ll bet had the Ravens not man-handled Dalton all night. The Cincinnati Bengals face the Cleveland Browns next, the Bengals better find a way to protect Dalton before this Sunday when they take on the Browns. The Cleveland Browns defense looked pretty good as they pressured Vick this past Sunday. If the Bengals are to be successful over the Browns they need to keep that Cleveland defense from Andy Dalton….
