It took some time to get Ben Roethlisberger and his Pittsburgh Steelers offense going this afternoon in Dallas, once they got it going it did look like they could come away with a win. It didn’t happen and now the Pittsburgh Steelers have lost their 7th game on the season. Ben Roethlisberger didn’t get his Steelers on the board in the first quarter. The Steelers were able to start scoring in the second quarter and put up 10 points to go into the locker room for the half tied with the Dallas Cowboys at halftime. The Steelers would fight through the game for the remaining 2 periods of play today. The game would end in regulation tied and the Pittsburgh Steelers would get the ball to start the overtime period.

It would be Ben Roethlisberger the same Big Ben that has won so many games in the last minutes for his Steelers that would make a big mistake. Roethlisberger threw an interception that cost the Steelers a chance for the teams 8th win. There is something about 8-6 that sounds better than 7-7. That’s what the Steelers are now 7-7 after the overtime loss they suffered at the hands of one ill-fated pass the man who has been a hero in Pittsburgh for 10 years threw in overtime. It hasn’t been that often that Roethlisberger hasn’t come through in a clutch. But today was one of those occasions and you can bet this one is going to sting Big Ben for a while……

The Dallas Cowboys beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-24 in overtime to take the win away from Roethlisberger and Pittsburgh…..
