The Pittsburgh Steelers lost in a defensive struggle to the Cincinnati Bengals with only seconds to go in the game. Ben Roethlisberger is starting to show the wear and tear of playing in the AFC North for the past 9 years. He only threw for one touchdown today and was sacked 4 times by the Bengals defense and threw 2 interceptions. It was not a game you would expect the Steelers to lose. The Bengals didn’t score a touchdown offensively. The only time the Bengals found the end-zone came off a Roethlisberger pick 6.

The Pittsburgh defense did what they had to do in the game, the problem the Steelers ran up against was the strength of the  Cincinnati defense. This Bengals defense came to Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, PA ready to play. They shut down the Steelers offense for most of the game. The only offensive touchdown in the game came in the 2nd quarter. The Steelers now fall to 7-8 on the season and they play the Cleveland Browns next week in a game that may mean very little to the Steelers.

One of the biggest disappointments in the game came early when Shaun Suisham missed a chip shot for a field goal. He pulled the kick wide left from what looked like a bit longer of an extra point attempt. The Steelers didn’t play a very good football game today.
