The NFL preseason power ranking have the Denver Broncos listed as one of the 3 team’s that could win it all in 2013. Armed & Dangerous is the way some are describing the Broncos with Peyton Manning at quarterback.
Manning had a great season in 2012, he proved a lot of his credits wrong and he came back from injury and performed like the seasoned veteran we know. Manning didn’t miss a beat as he led the Broncos to a 13-3 season and took them into the play-offs.
He was ranked 8th over-all last season as he threw for 4,659 yards with 37 touchdowns and only 11 interceptions. It was the kind of year that the Broncos and Manning both needed. This season the Broncos could win it all according to the power rankings.
The Broncos have given Manning some new offensive weapons and if he can play the way he did in 2012, the Broncos could be a tough team to stop. Manning is one of the best leaders both on and off the field.
He demands the best from his players and he is always coaching them throughout the game and in the off-season. In 2013 I expect the Broncos to be even better than they were last season. Even if they don’t win 13 games, they should make the play-offs and if they do, expect them not to make the same mistakes they made last season. The Broncos defense isn’t going to give up so many points this time around.
Manning should have won that game, he put enough points on the board to get the job done and the defense couldn’t stop the Ravens. The Broncos could get to the super bowl this season.
