The Houston Texans are off to the teams best start largely due to  Arian Foster’s ability to run the football. Foster rushed the ball in New York 29 times for 152 yards and one touchdown last night. Foster is having a good time this season and the Texans record is reflecting that fact. The Texans took advantage of the Jets defense. Foster was able to run at will as the Texans controlled the pace of the game to pull off  their 5th win of the season.

Matt Schaub only completed 50% of his passes throwing for 209 yards with one interception and one touchdown. Schaub doesn’t have to work that hard with Foster in the backfield. You just hand him the ball and watch him gain the yards. The Texans look like they are ready for the play-offs already, there is a lot of football left and they have to stay on track. The team has a bad taste in their mouths from what happened to them in the play-offs last season and you can see they are on a mission this year.

There are only 2 teams in the NFL that are undefeated at this point in the season. Houston has to be thrilled they are one of them. If they can continue to play the kind of football they are playing now, it is going to be a fun ride.
