In my opinion the genesis of RGIII’s current shortcomings was Shanahan’s foolish decision to play Robert in LAST year’s wildcard game against Seattle when it was quite clear that he had a bad wheel—not to mention the probability that in doing so he was risking further injury down the road.
Well guess what??
The future’s here now and at the moment it doesn’t look that good for the Redskins—especially without their battering ram Alfred Morris available to give RGIII a reliable running game (not to mention the option of play action passes which would help reduce the odds of further damage to that gimpy knee of his…)
