They say defense wins championships, I know it is far too early to be talking about Andy Reid and his Kansas City Chiefs winning a championship, but the fans have to like what they are seeing with the Chiefs defense. Reid made a return trip to a place his is very familiar with.

The results were outstanding. The Chiefs defense forced a bunch of turnovers and forced Michael Vick to make mistakes. That is how you win football games and that is what the Chiefs did last night winning their 3rd game in a row. The Chiefs now have a better win record than they did in the 2012 season.

This team is playing some fantastic defense and there is no end in sight. If the Chiefs continue to play the kind of defense they showed against the Eagles last night the team will make it easy on their offensive unit. The Chiefs offense didn’t have to work that hard to get a win and that helps the team to keep the momentum on their side.

The Chiefs forced 5 turnovers in the game. That makes it difficult for any team to win. Kansas City is on a mission this season and they could turn some heads if the good play continues. Reid has this team playing some good football and the fans can see what a difference a decent head coach can make.

It has been a long time since the Chiefs have enjoyed this type of success and we here at USA Sports 360 hope it continues. Tell us what you think about the Kansas City Chiefs so far this season. Leave your comments below…
