Here comes the cream of the crop…….Justin Thomas, Paul Casey, & Webb Simpson are all tied for first at the Tour Championship.

They are sitting at -7 under par. Justin with a -4 under par 66, and Paul & Webb with -3 under par 67’s. They are all great players this week, actually I mean all 30 of them.

Justin went bogey free on the front but stumbled on #14 for his only bogey of the day. Unfortunately he hit in a fairway bunker with his drive and that cost him a stroke.

Paul Casey also had a bogey free front nine but stumbled on 12 & 13 with bogies on each. Still in a tie for first so he is NOT complaining.

Webb Simpson, this will sound like a broken record, was bogey free on the front nine. Unfortunately for Webby he hit #13 and had a double bogey.

He hit in the rough with his drive and had to punch out to lose a stroke. He hit from the rough with his third shot and still had a ways to go.

On in 4 and a two putt double bogey. I know he would like to play that hole over again. I love being an amateur and taking a mulligan once in a while!!

We also have a HUGE 4 way tie for 4th place. Patrick Reed, Justin Rose, Gary Woodland, & Jon Rahm. The guys are only one shot out of the lead and are -6 under par.

I knew this tournament would be a real shoot out. Gonna say this……Justin Thomas deserves to win here this week! He has had an incredible year.

In case you are curious, MY MAN, Pat Perez is playing GREAT T11 and -4 under par.

Came in with no big expectations but my oh my wouldn’t it be cool to see him get hot? No one, other that John Daly, is more colorful to watch.

Oh and listen too also. He is sort of X rated but very entertaining!

Where is Waldo, I mean Rickie Fowler??? Man oh man thank goodness for Kevin Chappell or Rick would be dead last.

I’m not sure how he could go plus 3 and then plus 4 and be 7 over par. I am guessing this course just doesn’t fit his eye. There really is lot to be said about that.

All I know is make sure to watch the next 2 days………it’s going to be a wild and crazy time.
