What a beautiful day at the RBC Heritage, on the lovely Harbour Town Golf Links this Wednesday on Hilton Head Island.

Temperatures in the mid 70’s and NO rain in sight.

Anybody wondering about the long ball hitting #1 golfer in the world, Dustin Johnson and his long hitting at Harbour Town, well……worry no more.

He fired 9 birdies in the pro-am and looks like he is ready to make his first appearance at this tournament his NEXT victory!

Dustin told us in his press conference that he is really excited to be back.

He also made sure we understood that scheduling was the only reason he hasn’t been back sooner.

After all this is the week after the Masters. He did emphasize that he will be taking a vacation next weekend has committed to playing this event for the next few years.

Nothing can make these tournament sponsors any happier.

He hit 4 or 5 drivers today. He said that it boils down to how he feels when he arrives on the tee whether it’s a driver or another club.

When asked if he would leave the driver in the car and not use it he was emphatic that the bag will be full of all the clubs he is legally able to take with him on the course.

Dustin couldn’t say enough nice things about the golf courses in South Carolina, his home state, and the shape of Junior Golf in South Carolina.

D J attributes the Junior Golf program as the way that he has made it and been so successful.

Luke Donald was candid and let us know just how much he wants to win this tournament. So many second place finishes that makes him want the win so bad!!

Sam Saunders was candid also. He made sure we knew just how much his Grandfather Arnold Palmer loved Harbour Town and how thrilled he was to be able to actually play a course his grandpa won on.

With Harbour Town being the only course that the Heritage has ever been played on it make it a rare commodity in the golf world.

There are only 3 other venues that have been played on the same course since the tournament’s start.

Now, the real competition and the fun begins. This week is going to be a blast!
