The crash that killed 2 happened at around 9:00A.M,. Est this morning. So far the driver of the bus and at least one of the bus passengers are known to be dead. 14 others who were on the bus needed to be transported to area hospitals for treatment, 3 had to be air-lifted by helicopter.
The good news is if there is good news after a tragic accident like this is, an ABC affiliate WHTM-TV in Harrisburg, Pa., reported that several of the lacrosse players have already been discharged from local hospitals with minor injuries.
Seton Hill is a Catholic school of about 2,500 students near Pittsburgh. Photos at the scene showed the bus upright on the side of the road with part of its left side torn off. It wasn’t clear if that was from the accident or the rescue operation.
The team was on their way to take part in a game against Millersville University which is about 50 miles away from the crash site.
